The Fundación Jefatura Femenina del Hogar was born from a community tradition started in 1987 in Buenaventura. We are an organization made up 100% of women, led by female heads of household, working for human rights, gender justice, and the social transformation of the territory.

We develop social, cultural and environmental projects with an ethnic and gender focus, strengthening human rights, territory and peace in Buenaventura and rural areas of the Pacific.
