This past Saturday, April 18th, we had a profoundly rewarding and moving experience in Santiago de Cali. We joined more than 80 women’s organizations from across the country at the Knowledge Exchange Gathering, a space where caregiving ceased to be invisible and transformed into leadership and collective knowledge.
For our foundation, this gathering was an invaluable opportunity for growth. We had the honor of meeting and strengthening ties with other organizations nationwide, recognizing that we share the same struggles and dreams. It was inspiring to confirm that, like us, all these organizations have undergone strengthening processes that now allow us to be better prepared, more united, and more resilient to continue contributing with all our love and expertise to our communities.
We returned with full hearts and the conviction that when caregivers come together, we strengthen entire communities. This is how the National Care System in Colombia is moving forward: from the regions and with us at the center!
