Objectives:
To build capacity for consolidating human security policy and supporting the implementation of the Peace Agreement through community strengthening processes focused on protection, access to institutional information, and the exercise of rights in Buenaventura.
Specific Objectives
- Strengthen institutional management: Acquire technological tools and develop a digital platform to increase the visibility and sustainability of the Training School.
- Provide human rights training: Train 100 women leaders on support pathways, prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and reporting mechanisms.
- Promote economic autonomy: Provide basic business management and financial skills to improve the quality of life of participants and their families.
Description:
This is a community strengthening initiative led by FUNDAJEFEHOGAR in Buenaventura. The project aims to empower women through the use of technological tools and human rights training, facilitating their access to government services and promoting their economic autonomy as a strategy for human security and violence prevention.
Beneficiary Population
Directly: 100 women leaders from the Black community of Guadualito and the urban area of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.
Indirectly: Approximately 1,500 people from the local community who will receive information through outreach workshops and informational materials.

Expected Results
Consolidation of the “Fireflies” leadership network, composed of 100 women with the technical and political skills to influence their communities, supported by a web platform that documents their visual history and a solid technological foundation to ensure the continuity of the processes.
